
The Indian Conference on #Bioinformatics (#INBIX) is a flaship annual conference of Bioclues. This year, it will be in conjunction with global bioinformatics education summit 2026 (GBES2026) and International Colloquium on Bioinformatics Learning, Education and Training (iCOBLET2026), together abbreviated as #InBixiCOBLET2026. The GBES is a working meeting that gathers bioinformatics educators and other experts to address challenges in bioinformatics education and workforce development. Participants will share successes and challenges, and the outcomes of the conference will set priorities and issue calls to action. While #InBixiCOBLET2026is scheduled from September 29-October 1, #GBES2026 happens to be from September 28-October 1, 2026. The conference brings together several bioinformatics leaders from India, global south and abroad, it aims to bridge the gap between the global north and the global south. The event also addresses key strategic events and calls to action to academics, policymakers, industry and student organizations, all aimed at supporting competency building in and the adoption of upcoming trends in education and training.
